As the Economic Development Specialist for CEDA, Maureen works to retain and expand existing businesses, as well as to attract new businesses to expand or relocate to Cayuga County. To do so, she identifies available commercial sites and buildings, and helps businesses navigate the myriad of programs and incentives at the local, state, and federal levels.
As the Small Business Development Specialist for CEDA, Paul likes to think of himself (and his colleagues) as creative problem solvers – here to guide and assist, anyone with a new business venture and of course, any established businesses by pairing them with the correct resource, whether it be local, regional, state, or federal.
As the Economic Research Analyst for CEDA, Peter acts as the organization’s informational backbone for funding, opportunity sources, and reporting. Peter works to stay abreast of developments at all levels while seeking to uncover connections between programs and firms to help drive economic development in Cayuga County.
Katie joins our team as our Bookkeeper/Office Manager. Katie has strong experience in non-profit leadership, accounting, office administration, and grant writing/administration. In her role she will provide direct support to our clients and CEDA’s internal operations and compliance requirements. Katie is a graduate of Brown University and attained her MBA from Syracuse University. After living in a variety of cities, including Providence, Rhode Island, Boston Massachusetts, Florence, Italy and Washington DC, Katie returned to the place she likes best for its beauty and quality of life – Cayuga County.
