Simple Steps for Starting Your Business
The Auburn SCORE Chapter will conduct the 5 week workshop series: Simple Steps for Starting Your Business beginning on Monday, September 18th at 2 State Street Auburn, NY. The first session is free to attend with a cost of $40 per participant for the remaining four sessions. The workshops will be presented by local SCORE mentors and industry experts. The topics include: business planning, marketing, financial projections, and funding sources.

Rural Pitch Competition
If you reside in Cayuga County and have recently started a business or are in the process of starting a business, you are eligible to register for the Onondaga SBDC Rural Pitch Competition for the chance to win cash prizes (up to $1000). Participants will attend four classes on Thursday evenings beginning September 7th at 2 State Street Auburn, NY. The final night will be a one-page pitch competition with five minutes to present and five minutes for questions and answers.
