Congratulations to all Cayuga County businesses and organizations – Cayuga County SWCD, City of Auburn, Seward House Museum, Veterans Memorial Park Association (VMPA), and the Village of Port Byron – who were awarded funding in Round XI of the Regional Economic Development Council (REDC) Initiative! Cayuga County projects were awarded over $1.4m in funds so far this year through the New York State Consolidated Funding Application (CFA).

CEDA Business Development Specialist Meg Goloub assisted the VMPA with their CFA to help secure $300k in funding. Utilizing the awarded funds, the VMPA will renovate the former Auburn Babe Ruth League Park in Aurelius into two Amateur Softball Association (ASA)-compliant softball fields with supporting facilities, such as concession stand and bathrooms.
